Fine town-plan of Paris with a dedication : "dédié et présenté à monseigneur le Dauphin, par son très humble et très obéissant Serviteur et Géographe L. C. D.".
The plan is after N. de Fer "Le plan de Paris, ses faubourgs et ses environs", published in 1707 and republished several times. Desnos, who in 1760 acquired the copper plates, has re-used the plate, but added new details. Among many others he included the Military school and the church Sainte-Geneviève.
The engravers name P. Starckman has been erased and the note "Nles postes intérieures de Paris" appears at the bottom of the plan.
