"Derrière le miroir", was an exceptional French art magazine, illustrated with original lithographs of famous artists, with original texts by the greatest poets and writers of the time. It was published from 1946 to 1982 and accompanied each exhibition of the Maeght Gallery.
Joan Miró, born in Barcelona on April 20, 1893 and died in Palma de Mallorca on December 25, 1983, was a Spanish painter, sculptor, engraver and ceramist. Defining himself above all as "International Catalan", he is one of the main representatives of the surrealist movement.
